Final submission, uploading of audio/video file, and application fee to be submitted no later than June 1st, 2021.
Round One:
Applicants will be randomly assigned to a group of auditionees to be reviewed by IMAC adjudicators. Judges will rank the applicants and provide written feedback for each participant. The highest rated applicants will advance to round two.
Round Two, and additional rounds as needed:
All round two applicants will then be assigned to a new group of auditionees to be reviewed by IMAC adjudicators. Judges will rank the applicants and provide written feedback for each participant. No IMAC judge will listen to the same candidate again until the final round. The competition will continue with advancing rounds until the total number of candidates is 10 or less. At that point, the competition will move to the final round.
Final Round:
The complete IMAC judging panel will listen to all of the finalist’s recordings. A combined tally of all the adjudicators' rankings will establish the winners. Every participant in the final round will receive written comments from the entire panel of IMAC judges.
At no point in the judging process will adjudicators have knowledge of the applicant's identities.
Results to be announced June 13, 2021
Prizes to be determined.
A live streamed concert (via YouTube or Facebook) will feature the winners of the competition.
